We didn't win the primary, but I'm proud of the campaign we ran and I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to keep working on the issues we ran on, and I hope you'll stick with me.

This campaign was built by neighbors.
My family came to Delaware in 1992 and opened our first restaurant on Concord Pike. I've spent my life in this community and in small business, and I've learned that if you're not at the table, you don't get served. That's why I ran.
Thank you to everyone who knocked on doors, made calls, put a sign in their yard or stood outside a polling place with us. I won't forget it.

About Jose
Small business owner. Community leader. Not a career politician.
I'm a first-generation American and a third-generation restaurateur. I own La Tolteca Mexican Kitchen and Bar, along with other restaurant concepts.
I went to Delaware public schools and graduated from McKean High School. I was the first in my family to finish college, with a finance degree from Thomas Jefferson University, and I later earned my MBA in finance at the University of Delaware.

Small business
Less red tape, fairer rules for restaurants
- One portal and one application number for every permit
- Refunds when the state misses its own deadline
- Tax relief for restaurants and fair fees from delivery apps
Lower bills
Stop making families pay for data centers
- Big energy users pay for the grid upgrades they need
- Pay families whose home batteries help the grid
- Safe, simple plug-in solar for renters and homeowners
Voter choice
Let more people vote in primaries
- Unaffiliated voters can pick one party's primary ballot
- Voters, not party committees, choose nominees for open seats
